Calculating Rock, Mulch & Soil

To calculate how much material you need, take the square footage divided by the number of square feet the depth amount will cover equals the number of cubic yards you would need.

Example: 800 sq. ft. spread 3” deep

800 divided by 108 = 7.4 cubic yards
